Fall, or Autumn for those of older folks, is on the way. Tonight is the first pre-season game, yeah!!! In case you hadn't noticed I love football and I am an armchair quarterback and referee. This year they are also going to have Thursday night games on CBS, I can't wait. My team, the Chiefs, play this Thursday. Go Chiefs!!! I love fall ,the crisp air, being able to go out without being accosted by heat, bugs and more bugs. I am not a big fan of summer. My favorite seasons are Spring and Fall.
I spent most of the day with my daughter and her menagerie. I did laundry, my washing machine broke and there is not a new one on the horizon, practiced on her pool table and just sat. She did some cleaning and constant reprimanding of the puppy, four month old Daisy( an English Mastiff and we are beginning to think Pit Bull mix). I call her Granby. She and the 2 year old Lab, Griff, pretty much tore up a stuffed toy playing tug of war doggy style. Daisy had several close encounters with Minute, one of the cats sho definitely doesn't like her. She even got growled at by Bud, the 12 year old German Shepherd/Akita mix. He also does not much like the idea of a puppy in his domain, but tolerates her for his humans, as long as she doesn't get too close. My daughter and I played two games of pool, which I won. All in all it was just a sit back and do nothing kind of day(artistically anyway). I have decided to try a few of the challenges and see how I am able to handle them. I want to continue with the Diva Challenge,http://iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com/; Tackle it Tuesday,cherylsartfulcreations.blogspot.ca; It's a String Thing,http://www.tickledtotangle.blogspot.ca/; Joey's Weekly Tangle Challenge,http://madebyjoey.blogspot.com/; Every Inchie Monday, I will add the link later. I think this will keep me busy during the week. I don't have any pictures to post today.
