I am currently sitting here surrounded by piles of paper.
I went to the library Friday and they were giving away magazines. I csme home with some Black Diaspora and American Legacy magazines. I went back on Saturday to get the other Black Diaspora magazines but they were gone ( I told the guard they would be). So I came home Saturday with Good Housekeeping, American Forests, American Heritage and Vanidadas. I have spent most of the day today going through these magazines removing images, letters and some words. I will use most of it later in collage and mix media pieces. So I have piles of paper as I try and sort as I go. I also picked up a couple of audio books to listen to while I work. I think this may be a little less distracting than trying to watch movies while I'm working and it satisfies my need to "read".

I completed two more challenges. I don't know if I'll get Joey's challenge finished today as my worksurface has magazines and paper all over it.

Tackle It Tuesday Y-Z; Tangles: YNY (Lianne Woods, CZT), Z-trick (Yamit Fridman)

It's A String Thing #85 String: 085; Tangles: Mumsy (Sandy Steen Bartholomew, CZT), Kelp (Nancy Domnauer), Printemps (Zentangle (R))

  1. I like both your tiles, especially the It's a string thing one.

  2. Love the black and white patterns. Sounds like you are getting ready for a big job with all those cuttings! Thanks for visiting my blog, Valerie

  3. I think managing all the paper bits may be the most difficult part of being a collage artist. I really enjoy your line work, the top drawing is powerful!
